Free pilot for South African installers

Trace the roof. Suncast does the rest.

Outline the roof on satellite imagery and Suncast places the panels, models the yield with PVGIS solar data, prices the job in rand and turns it into a branded proposal, all in one sitting.

No credit card. Free for approved installers during the pilot.

From satellite image to panel layout in minutes

No more sketching on printouts or guessing panel counts. Draw the roof once and every number in the quote follows from it.

  1. 01

    Find the address

Type the street address and the satellite view of the roof loads.

  2. 02

    Trace the roof

Click around each roof face. Mark skylights, vents and chimneys.

  3. 03

    Panels placed for you

Suncast fills each face, keeping setbacks and clearances. Tap a panel to remove it.

  4. 04

    Check it in 3D

Orbit around the house to check pitch and layout before you quote.

  • Find the site by street address
  • Trace each roof face on satellite imagery
  • Setbacks, skylights, vents and chimneys respected
  • Portrait or landscape, remove single panels
  • Pitch and orientation per face, checked in 3D
  • Production per face from PVGIS, updated as you draw

Numbers your customers can trust

Suncast models how much solar the household uses directly, how much the battery shifts into the evening and what is exported, so savings aren't overstated.

  • Monthly production. PVGIS data for the exact roof faces, not a national average.

  • Realistic savings. Daytime use, battery size and feed-in tariff all count.

  • Payback that holds up. Yearly tariff increases and panel ageing built in.

  • Your brand. Logo, colours, contact details and terms on every page.

FAQ

Questions installers ask us

Who is Suncast for?

Solar installers and EPC teams, starting in South Africa. If you design and quote rooftop or ground-mounted PV systems, with or without batteries, Suncast is built for you.

What does the pilot involve?

Approved installers use Suncast free for 30 days on real jobs. In return we ask for honest feedback: two short calls and permission to learn from how you use the product.

Where does the energy data come from?

Yield estimates use PVGIS, the European Commission's free solar radiation database, which covers all of South Africa.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Suncast runs in your web browser on a laptop or tablet.

Is my customer data safe?

Each company's data is kept separate at the database level, so other Suncast users can never see your customers or quotes. We handle personal information in line with POPIA.

What happens after the pilot?

Paid plans open after the pilot. You will get plenty of notice before anything changes, and nobody is charged without choosing a plan first.
